Your app's domains

An address belongs to what it opens. Add your domain on the app's or site's Domains tab; its free address is always there too.

An address belongs to the app or site it opens. Asha adds shop.asha.com on her app shop, and blog.asha.com on her site blog.

Add your domain

  1. Open your app or site, then its Domains tab.

  2. Choose Add your domain and type it, like shop.asha.com.

  3. Follow the steps: prove it's yours and point it at us. Its SSL certificate comes by itself on the first visit.

A subdomain of a domain the project has already (shop.asha.com when asha.com is there) needs no new domain: its DNS record is made for you.

The free address

Every app and site has a free address, like shop-7h3k.tanzahost.co, shown on the same tab. It stays, even with your own domain. You can rename it once in a while.

DNS and email

DNS records and email belong to a domain, not to one app. Once your project has a domain, the project's own Domains tab lists every address in the project, what each opens, and each domain's DNS and email. See DNS records.
