Pay for what runs. Nothing else.

Save a card, and it pays in US dollars for the memory and processor time your apps really used, counted minute by minute. No plans to choose.

  • Paid by your card

Use is counted every minute. Your card pays when it reaches your line, and at the end of each month for the rest.

  • Limits you set

Each app has a memory and processor limit you choose, and they cost nothing. A runaway app can't run up a bill.

  • Storage only while asleep

Quiet apps can sleep, and wake on the next visit in a second or two.

  • Storage that grows

Storage, databases and traffic grow with you. You pay for what's used.

Two rates, by the month.

Your app pays for the memory it holds and the processor time it uses, measured every minute. No plans or sizes: set each app's limits, and pay only for what it uses under them. Databases of their own are charged the same way.

The rates for memory and processor time, for a whole month and by the hour
RateA whole monthPer hour, counted by the minute
Memoryper GB$5.99$0.0082
Processorper processor$11.97$0.0164

A whole month is 730 hours. An app that holds half a GB all month pays half of the memory rate's month, and quiet hours cost less.

A worked example

A Laravel shop that uses about 512 MB of memory and 0.1 processors, awake all month:

Memory: 0.5 GB × 730 hours × $0.0082
$3.00
Processor: 0.1 × 730 hours × $0.0164
$1.20

A month

$4.20

Its limits, 1 GB and 1 processor, cost nothing by themselves.

Included with every app

Nothing to add, and nothing extra to pay.

  • A free address on tanzahost.co
  • SSL for every domain, renewed by itself
  • A web firewall and bot blocking
  • Deploys without downtime, with a health check
  • Go back to the version before, in one click
  • Live logs and a terminal in your browser
  • Encrypted variables for your settings and secrets
  • Alerts before your balance runs low

Pay for extras only when you use them.

Storage, backups and traffic are measured like everything else, and shown on your bill line by line.

  • Storage

    $0.15 per GB a month

Your files, uploads and databases. It grows as you need, with no fixed limit.

  • Backups

    $0.08 per GB a month

5 days a week and encrypted, kept in another location for 7 days.

  • Traffic

    $0.04 per GB

What visitors download from your apps.

  • Shared MySQL

    $0.50 a month

A MySQL database on a shared server, for small apps, backed up 5 days a week.

  • Own database

Like an app: the memory and processor it uses

MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL or Valkey, with memory and processor of its own.

  • Emails sent

    $0.50 per 1,000 emails

What your apps send, like receipts and password resets.

  • Build minutes

    $0.004 a minute

Time spent building your app on each deploy.

  • Mailboxes

    $0.80 per mailbox a month

Email on your own domain, with webmail and your phone's mail app. Its mail is counted as storage.

Estimate your month.

Choose how much memory and processor your app uses, how long it's awake, a database and storage. The estimate follows every change.

Estimate your month

320 MB

0.1 processors

$0.0164 per processor an hour

A small Laravel shop typically uses 200 to 500 MB and about a tenth of a processor.

24 h · always on

Quiet apps can sleep when nobody visits, and wake in a second or two.

Set a memory and processor limit on each app, so a busy day never costs more than you expect. Limits cost nothing.

Pay by card.

Your wallet is in US dollars. Save a card, and it pays when your use reaches your line, and at the end of each month for whatever's left. Top up as well if you like: what's in your wallet is used first.

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • Payments are handled by Stripe. Card details are typed only on Stripe's secure page, with 3‑D Secure.
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay work wherever your device supports them.
  • A receipt for every payment, by email and in your dashboard.

If your card can't pay

Nothing stops by surprise. If your card refuses a payment, or you removed it, your wallet is prepaid until you sort it out: we count the days left at your current use, and tell you in time.

  1. 7 days left

A reminder by email and in your dashboard

  2. 3 days left

    A second reminder

  3. 1 day left

    A last reminder

  4. Zero

A short grace period, so you have time to pay

  5. After the grace period

Apps stop, but nothing is deleted. Your DNS keeps answering, and your data is kept for 30 days.

How is my use measured?
Every minute, we record what each app, database and extra used. It's added to your month as it happens, so your wallet always shows what this month has cost so far.
What do I need to start?
A saved card, and nothing more. Saving it charges nothing: your bank may ask you to approve it, and it pays only for what you use.
When does my card pay?
As soon as what you owe reaches your line, $5 at first and growing ($10 and $50) as you pay, and on the 1st of each month for whatever's left, even if it never reached the line. Money in your wallet is used first. If your card refuses a payment, we tell you, and you have the grace days to sort it out.
What are an app's limits?
The most memory and processor time an app may use. You set them with two sliders and change them any time, without a restart. They cost nothing by themselves: they keep a runaway app from running up a bill, and you pay only for what the app really uses.
What does a sleeping app cost?
Only its storage. An app can sleep after some minutes without visitors, and wakes on the next visit in a second or two. Business sites are best left always on, so search engines never wait.
What if my card can't pay?
We tell you, and your wallet is prepaid until you pay by hand once or save a card that works. If its balance runs out, after a short grace period your apps stop, but nothing is deleted. Your DNS keeps answering, visitors see a neutral “temporarily unavailable” page, and your data is kept for 30 days. Pay, and everything starts again within a minute.
Can I set a spending limit?
Yes. Set a monthly spending cap in your wallet. When this month's use reaches it, we tell you, and nothing new can be added until next month. Tick “Also stop my apps” if you'd rather they stop than cost more: they keep all their data.
Which currency will I pay in?
US dollars. Every wallet is in dollars, and you pay by card.
Are there limits on storage or traffic?
No fixed limits. Storage, databases and traffic grow with your apps, and you pay for what's used. New accounts have a few limits until their first payment, to keep the platform safe for everyone.

Start with any amount. Stop whenever you like.
