WordPress hosting that updates itself.

Give your site a title and an admin. We install WordPress with its own database, unique keys and a strong password, in about a minute. Then it updates itself and its plugins, as on any host, and you edit any file from a laptop or a phone.

  • WordPress7.1
  • PHP8.4
  • DatabaseIts own MariaDB 11.4
  • Priced byWhat it uses

Set up safely before your first visitor.

You choose the title, the admin's username and email, and a password. Everything else is set for you, and you never type a database password.

FileWhat we do with it
DatabaseA MariaDB of the site's own, in your project's databases with all their tools, with its name, user and password made for you and kept encrypted.
Keys and saltsUnique for your site, with a table prefix of its own, and debugging off.
AdminAny username but admin, the first one attackers try. We make a strong password and show it once, or you choose one of 12 characters or more.
UpdatesWordPress may write its own files, so it updates itself, its plugins and its themes.
wp-cron.phpRun every 5 minutes as a scheduled task, so no visit waits for WordPress's own tasks.

Your files live on, like on a classic host.

A WordPress site keeps its files on its own disk, changed in place by WordPress, by you in the file manager, or by an upload. Nothing is rebuilt, so a plugin update is never undone.

  • A file manager built in

Browse, search, upload whole folders, and edit PHP, CSS and .htaccess with colours. Big uploads go in pieces that carry on after a dropped connection.

  • Undo a bad edit

The version before each save is kept for 7 days, one click to restore, and deleted files wait in the trash for 7 days.

  • Safe permissions

644 for files and 755 for folders by default, and a typed confirmation before anything lets everyone change a file.

  • Every change recorded

Uploads, saves, renames, moves and deletes are in the activity log, with who made them.

PHP settings, the way you know them.

Change the largest upload, the memory limit and the time limit, and add PHP extensions, on the site's page. The site restarts with them with no downtime, and your files stay as they are.

  • Scheduled tasks, like cron jobs

Up to 10, as often as every minute, each with the output of its last 20 runs.

  • Logs and a terminal

See what the site prints and every visit it answers, live, and open a command line inside the site's own sandbox.

  • Its address follows your domain

When the site gets its free address or your domain, we save its database first, then move WordPress with its own search and replace, so links and settings stay right.

Kept apart from every other site.

Each WordPress site runs in its own sandbox, with its own files, memory and database. A hacked site next door can't read yours.

  • Login pages have stricter limits at the door, which slows down password guessing.
  • The database is reachable only from your own project, unless you open it to your own tools, encrypted.
  • Free SSL on its free address and on your own domains.

A WordPress site, priced in the open.

Say a small blog and its database together hold 0.3 GB of memory and use 3% of a processor, awake all month. You pay for that use, counted every minute and paid by your saved card.

Memory is $5.99 per GB a month and a processor $11.97 a month, counted by the minute. Its files and database on disk are $0.15 per GB a month.

Can I install any plugin or theme?
Yes, from WordPress's own admin, as on any host. WordPress can write its files, so it installs and updates them by itself.
Can I choose the PHP version?
WordPress sites run on PHP 8.4, the version of WordPress's own official release. You can still change its PHP settings and add extensions.
How do I get to WordPress's admin?
Open the site in the dashboard and choose WordPress admin. The admin password is shown once, after the install: copy it then, or choose your own when you add the site.
Do I need a separate database?
No. Every WordPress site gets its own MariaDB, with its own memory limit, and WordPress is connected to it for you.
