WordPress with Elementor

Install WordPress with Elementor in one click: a WordPress website you design by dragging blocks. What it makes, its admin page and first steps.

Updated 29 Oct 20262 min read

Elementor puts a dragging builder inside WordPress, so the page is designed on the page itself: headings, pictures and buttons where you drop them. The plugin is the exact version wordpress.org serves, checked against its checksums, on a site whose settings are locked down from the start.

What it makes

  • A WordPress site at 512 MB of memory and half a processor, enough for a business site or a landing page. Move the ceilings whenever the site grows; the bill follows what it really uses. See limits.

  • A MySQL database, created and connected while the app is made.

  • A free address with HTTPS, plus the project's backups, with the first one as soon as the site is ready.

Install it

Asha wants a page for her shop's end-of-month sale, designed without waiting for anyone.

  1. From the project's Overview, under Add a service, choose From the catalog.

  2. Look up WordPress with Elementor and press Install beside it.

  3. Pick an App name (site will do) and type the Admin email you'll log in with.

  4. Read the limits and the monthly estimate, then press Install.

A password is shown once, and never again: copy it, then press I've saved it. The card shows each step as it happens until Ready.

Its admin page

From the card, choose Open its admin page (the address with /wp-admin/ behind it) and log in. Your first page takes about a minute:

  1. Pages → Add New, then Edit with Elementor.

  2. Drag a heading, a picture of the sale and a button onto the page; watch it as visitors will see it.

  3. Press Publish, then under Settings → Reading make that page the home one.

Updates

Elementor and WordPress update themselves quietly, and the backups keep every earlier version of the pages. Design freely: going back is a restore away. See WordPress.

Licence

The builder is made by its own company and keeps its own licence, GPL-2.0-or-later. Its website: elementor.com.
